Where to Stay: Camping inside the park…īryce Canyon National Park has two campgrounds – North and Sunset, which range from $20-$30/night (Tent/RV) The entrance fee for Bryce Canyon is $35 and is good for 7 consecutive days. This is convenient if you plan to stay outside of the park, you won’t spend too much time driving to where you want to go! Park Fees: At the park entrance, most of the main points of interest are only a short drive away. What we really appreciated about this park was its accessibility. You’ll also be blown away at how the snow adds to the beauty of the landscape. There are some things you should know about a visit to Bryce in the winter months that will be helpful for planning a trip! Don’t shy away from visiting in the off season- with cool temperatures and few crowds, this is actually a great time to go. We visited at the end of February, and there was a beautiful blanket of snow on the ground and capped on the hoodoos. Inside these shops is an ice cream and candy store, a photo shop and multiple gift shops with everything from artwork, to souvenirs, to rocks.Bryce Canyon National Park is truly a sight to behold, and a must visit when exploring Utah! Bryce Canyon is known for it’s red-orange, spire-shaped rock formations called hoodoos that expand across a vast amphitheater landscape. Old Bryce Town is a row of shops made to look like the old west. Across the street from Ruby’s Inn is Old Bryce Town. It has basically everything! From souvenirs, to camping/hiking/outdoor supplies, to groceries the general store is a great place to stop. Ruby’s General Store is the main store at Ruby’s Inn. If you’re looking for a higher class dining experience, you can go to Ebenezer’s Barn and Grill for a dinner and a show. The food was really good here and was very reasonably priced. We opted for a picnic lunch in Bryce Canyon National Park, but we came back into town for dinner and ate at the Canyon Diner. That being said, their lunch and dinner prices seemed very reasonable for this sort of town. While it was good, it wasn’t the most amazing food we had ever had and was a little bit pricy for breakfast. We ate breakfast at the restaurant inside of the main lodge at Ruby’s Inn, Cowboy’s Buffet and Steak House. There were also conference rooms for rent in this lodge area. There was a main lodge at Ruby’s Inn that housed a general store, restaurant, small shops and the pool/fitness room. The rooms were clean, had good parking and each room had a microwave and fridge which we always look for in a hotel room when we are traveling. We stayed at Ruby’s Inn and had a great experience there. There are campgrounds as well as two Best Western Hotels. There are a few loading options in Bryce Canyon City. What to See and Do in Bryce Canyon City Lodging With reasonable prices, it makes for a great stay. With hotels, restaurants and shops, this little city is a great place to stay if you’re not interested in camping inside the park. Located literally minutes outside of Bryce Canyon National Park is the cute Bryce Canyon City.
